Rooftop … what?

In case you don’t know what a rooftop bar is: A rooftop bar is – indeed – a bar that is located on the roof of a building. This type of bar often offers a spectacular view of the surrounding cityscape and creates a special ambience that is enhanced by the height and the open sky.

Rooftop bars are popular meeting places, especially in large cities, as they offer guests the opportunity to enjoy drinks and light meals in a unique and often luxurious setting.

The development of the rooftop scene in Vienna

The rooftop scene in Vienna has developed considerably in recent years. Of course, you can also sit in the gondola of the Ferris Wheel in the Prater and enjoy the view, but: Numerous first-class options have emerged, offering more than just impressive views over the city.

Whether luxurious cocktail bars, cozy lounges or stylish restaurants – everyone will find something to suit their taste here. No matter what you choose, you will always experience Vienna at its best – high above the rooftops of the city.
