Repair vouchers from the City of Vienna: From old to new!
A decision was made on May 5th to issue the repair voucher to Viennese households. The vouchers can be redeemed immediately. A total of 1.6 million euros are available for the funding campaign. Anyone who would like to receive the voucher for Viennese craft businesses can do so via their own website.
The repair voucher can be redeemed for repair services in companies that are part of the Vienna repair network and partners in the funding programme. Funding is provided for 50% of the gross invoice amount up to a maximum subsidy of € 100. The subsidy is immediately deducted from the invoice.
There is no need for you to make time-consuming requests for payment.

If it is no longer worth repairing your items, expenses for cost estimates of up to € 45 will be covered in full.
The repair voucher is also awarded regardless of the type of item that you want to have repaired. The customer’s place of residence is also irrelevant for redeeming the voucher.

Who will receive a voucher?
Anyone who registers online via the Vienna repair voucher website may receive a voucher which cannot be forged.
How much do I receive?
The City of Vienna covers 50% of your gross repair costs up to a maximum of € 100 and expenses for cost estimates up to € 45.
How do I obtain the voucher?
The repair vouchers can be downloaded online immediately after successful registration.
Where can I redeem the repair voucher?
From September 2021, you can redeem your voucher in any craft business that is part of the Vienna repair network.
How long do I have to redeem the voucher?
The Vienna repair voucher is initially available for the period from autumn 2020 to the end of 2023. There will be several campaign periods each year in which Vienna repair vouchers will be available.
